My dad's birthday!
Feb. 6th was my dad's bday. To celebrate while they were here visiting we went tubing in Park City!!! It was a blast! It was my 1st time and the kids loved it!!! Then when went to dinner and went back to my house for cake!
Gramy, Grampy and Ryanne came to town!
In February my parents came out for a visit- to see us and for Isabella's baby blessing. They brought my niece Ryanne with them, which Londyn was soo excited about! There was lots of good cousin time!
Visit with old friends!
Back in January we had dinner with some friends of ours from Foxboro. We have all since moved away so it was fun to get together! These 4 cuties were all in joy school together when they were just 2! Now they are all in kindergarten!

New years eve
Ok. I am attempting my 1st blog post from my phone.
So on new years eve we had a busy day at home working on some house projects. Then we met up for dinner with my friend Sam- we went to nursing school together. When we got back home I needed to make an appetizer and get the kids ready for bed so that we could go to our neighbor's for a new years eve part. BUT... When we got home all of our smoke alarms were going off! After checking things out and being unable to get the alarms to turn off we called the gas company to come. Jackson was so excited to come tell me he was here, that he came running around the corner, slipped and fell and cut his head open on the corner of the baseboard. Ouch!!! Poor kid was so tired because he didn't nap and then this happened! We got the bleeding to stop and then put him to bed. ( looking back we probably should have taken him in for stitches).
Then we had such a fun party with our neighbors! I played bunco for the 1st time and I won! Beginners luck!

Nutcracker
Cody's gift to Londyn this year was tickets to see Ballet West's The Nutcracker the day after Christmas. He even made the thing above to hold the tickets. So cute! It was so fun to see it too! I had only seen the Nutcracker once when I was in middle school and it was one of very times I got to sit in the audience to watch an entire Ballet. Loved it. And of course the only pictures of us there got deleted accidently. Oh well!
Christmas
This year was my year to work Christmas. I had to work the 1pm-7pm shift (not too bad), so we went to Cody's parent's house in Park City to spend the whole weekend with them. It was a nice break. Got to go on a little date to see the new Sherlock Holmes movie, did some kid-free skiing, did some skiing with both kids, and ate A LOT of good food!
This year Santa made special tage for Londyn and Jackson (well I thought them up, Cody created them, and I painted the letters with glue and added glue. Another one of my labors of love!).
It was fun because the kids had to find their letter tag to figure out which presents were theirs. This year Santa made special tage for Londyn and Jackson (well I thought them up, Cody created them, and I painted the letters with glue and added glue. Another one of my labors of love!).
Jackson got loaded up on lots of boy thing! Blocks, tools, more tools, a mini trampoline, books and some DVDs. (Oh and skates. he told everyone he was getting skates for Christmas. No idea where he came up with it, but he got 'em- thanks Gramy!)
And Londyn got lots of fun girlie things! Tutus, dolls, barbie movies, books, markers, crayons, cup cake Lego set.....
Another great Christmas!

Nikki's Shower
I should have gotten a picture of her with all her gifts, she got some cute thing! Here she is with the crib bedding.
Onesie Cookies.
The spread. It was definitely a weekend full of good food! Thanks to everyone who came! Nikki's mom was able to make it. My mom couldn't but we did SKYPE with her for a few minutes while we played a couple games.
Congrats to Caleb and Nikki. Can't wait to meet that sweet little girl! You 2 are going to be great parents!

Halloween
For Halloween this year Jackson was a Green Bay Packer and Londyn was Rainbow Dash-My Little Pony. At the beginning of October we went to the annual Halloween party at Cody's sister's mother-in-law's house. It's always a good time!
The kids had fun playing with their cousins Charlie and Carson. This was at Londyn's class party.
And here they are trick-or-treating with some of their friends. It was so nice to have such a mild Halloween finally. Jackson didn't even wear a coat. Then we all hung out and had chili and scones afterward. Great Halloween!
